If you’re concerned that you may have a problem with alcohol, ask yourself the following questions:
- Why are you drinking?
- Do you ever have more than 2 beers at a time?
- When are you drinking – in the morning before school/work or at home?
- Do you drink alone?
- Do you feel stressed and is this how you deal with your stress?
- How important is it to you to drink every day?
Think about the answers to these questions and the reasons you’re drinking, and if you’re still concerned, talk with a health care provider or counselor.
