If you don’t like the look or feel of your pubic hair, there are some safe ways to remove it. Trimming the hair is the easiest and most affordable way to change the appearance of pubic hair. For example: you can use a good quality pair of scissors or an electric shaver. If you decide to use an electric shaver, do so when your skin is dry (never use an electric shaver in the shower or bathtub). Other methods of hair removal may include waxing, electrolysis, creams and laser hair removal. You should be aware that if you decide to keep your pubic hair trimmed, there is a bit of upkeep involved. You’ll need to invest in good tools including: a good razor and blades (not the disposable kind). Keep in mind that your genital area will likely feel itchy and prickly as the hair grows back. Also, it is important to know that trimming or removing pubic hair doesn’t make your body cleaner or affect how condoms work. Removing pubic hair is a personal preference.
