Its great that you drink a lot of water, mostly because its healthy to AVOID lots of sugary drinks which can lead to unhealthy weight gain. Avoiding soda, juice and most sports drinks and focusing on water makes a lot of sense. However, it sounds like you need to get up frequently at night to pee, which can be really irritating and prevent good, restful sleep.
Your situation, little pee during the day but a lot at night, is almost always caused by the timing of your water intake. Try to avoid drinking after dinner time (or within three hours of bedtime) to give your body time to process water before you want to rest. In addition, it is often helpful to try to pee a few times before you go to bed–once about 30 minutes before sleep and then right before going to bed. If that doesn’t fix the problem, it is probably a good idea to see a doctor to do some quick tests to make sure there are not other issues to address.
