It sounds like you are noticing some changes in how you think, feel and behave that worry you, and that your friends also notice some changes in you. Sometimes when growing up, kids question who they are and have new kinds of feelings and thoughts. This may improve with time. If these changes last, they might affect your safety as well as your schoolwork and friendships. You are very observant to notice these changes in yourself. We strongly advise that you ask an adult such as your parent(s), guardian, health care provider or school counselor for help finding a counselor or therapist who understands teens. Tell the counselor about all of the changes you have noticed and they can help you understand what is going on and how to help. If you have thoughts of harming yourself or others or feel that your thoughts or behaviors are out of your control, please get help right away by visiting your provider or an emergency room. Most times, the support and understanding of a trained counselor can help teens get back on track.
