Many people take medication to help them with their ADHD symptoms. Some people take the medicine once a day or several times a day. Other people take it only on school days or when they need to do homework. If you have mood changes, this may or may not be related to ADHD and medication. It is important to talk to your health care provider or the person who prescribes the medication about any side effects that may occur and to let them know if the medication is helpful. They can help you make a plan for when it’s best to take your medication.
