Thank you for your question! It’s great that you practice good hygiene and wash your penis every day. Guys who are not circumcised need to take an extra step when washing their penis. Be sure to gently pull back the foreskin of your penis and clean beneath it with mild soap and water. Rinse and dry completely, then pull the foreskin back over the tip of your penis. If you continue to see a “white layer” when you pull back your foreskin and/or it’s still itchy, talk to your health care provider as you may need treatment for an infection.
